HPV 52

Hello!!  In 2020 (26 years old) I had a Pap test that showed suspicion about Hpv and low grade dysplasia. Since then I had colposcopy to watch if the dysplasia will grow. In 2021 the same Pap test results. In 2022 papa test was clean but continued colposcopy every 6 months. I was so tired and stressed and changed doctor. So before one month I had a thin prep Pap test and Hpv test. The Pap test was clear but I have hpv 52. The doctor said I have to get every six months Pap test and Hpv test
1) logically I have this Hpv type at least 3 years. Can it clear naturally after so long?
2) what can I do to clear it
3) should my boyfriend get tested too?
4) a I’m with my boyfriend 10 years before him I had only one another partner. Is it possible to have it from the first one 11,5 years before?
Thank you so much for your time

90% of people clear HPV in 2 years. The other 10% just take longer. So long as your immune system is healthy (you don't have any other major illness, you aren't immunocompromised by chemotherapy, etc.), you just may need more time.

2) what can I do to clear it

I'm sorry, I know it's frustrating, but you just have to wait.

3) should my boyfriend get tested too?

There is no test for men for HPV, but he undoubtedly has it already if you've had unprotected sex with him.

It's possible. It's possible your boyfriend had it before you. It's more likely that your boyfriend was exposed more recently. If this is the only evidence of that, though, it's not enough to prove he cheated.
