Please help ASAP

Ok, let me start at the begining...
About a week ago (about 8 days ago) i was wearing a thong and jeans that started irritation (gave me a couple blisters) in my groin area, well over the weekend (about 4 days ago) i woke up with a burning sensation when i urinated and i still had the irritation from the thong but it seemed to have gotten worse (more of the blister things) well the burning has gotten worse and the blister things haven't gone away. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend over the weekend and i didn't go to the bathroom after we were done (i usually always do). I would also like to add that all weekend i was drinking, me, my BF and a few friends were having a going away party weekend...so yeah, there was no lack of alcohol, which i know that can irritate UTIs. I went to the dr and he did a urine test and it came back negative for Chlamydia but that's all i know because he hasn't gotten back to me (his nurse told me i was neg)...he perscribed me Cipro on Monday (3 days ago) and none of the symptoms have gotten any better.
My symptoms:
Burning when i pee
A few blisters in my labia and the space between there n my anus
Lower back pain (in kidney area)
Tenderness in groin area

Thank you Grace,
I went to the Dr yesterday and she did a complete STD test and told me that it looked like an external yeast infection. It still worries me though when doctors throw STD out there before they know for sure :[ I trust my BF but still, the wait for getting the tests back is killing me!
Thanks again!!

did they test you for herpes at all when you were seen?   If not, I recommend going back to be seen tomorrow for additional testing, including a swab of your blisters to check for herpes.
