How likely are false positives for Gonorrhea?

I recently got my birth control redone and during my visit to Planned Parenthood they did an std test as well. I got a call a letter a week later saying I have Gonorrhea. WHAT???
Back story: I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and I trust him more than anybody. We caught chlamydia a few months into our relationship due to having sex in our car and not properly cleaning ourselves afterwards (we were also in between living situations). We got treatment and were completely fine afterwards. Now all of a sudden almost 2 years later I find out I’ve magically caught Gonorrhea and I don’t understand where it may have come from. We’re still waiting on his results but neither one of us have any symptoms. I have been completely faithful and I know he has been too. So now I’m wondering if the test was wrong...I have read a few other couples’ stories pertaining to this situation however nobody that’s been positive seems to have gone back to get tested again. So is it realistic to assume the test might be wrong?

Hi, firstly chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection and its not spread from not cleaning in a car. thats completly out of the question on how its spread. If your boyfriend has no symptoms of a white puss penis discharge and burning while urinating at this present time (as in all most all cases men get these symptoms) then its has to be a false positive.  Also when a person has gono it would clear up by itself in a few months by the bodies immune system so it would not be present for 2 years.

I’m gunna be honest it doesn’t seem like you actually read my post just based on some of your responses but I do appreciate your input. I’ve had multiple doctors tell us it came from us not cleaning properly especially after having sex in such a small space. So that’s a professional opinion. And it’s from US not cleaning properly and NOT from the car not being clean. So again it has nothing to do with the cars cleanliness. And I’ve done my own research to know it wouldn’t have been from before we met. So I am aware that isn’t a possibility. My only question is whether or not a false positive is to blame for this confusion. I did read something that said if you have had chlymaydia before it might show something for gonorrhea in your system. Not saying that’s accurate but it’s something else I’ve read on..
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection and very common. Its a bacteria that is spread from person to person from unprotected intercourse. It needs a protected enviorment to be spread like inside a penis or a vagina.  It doesnot live in the air  and is not created by not cleaning properly.  How is chlamydia born from not cleaning properly, that makes no sence.  Its a germ. Its is in the same catagory as Gono and is passed the same as gono.
If you want more accurate information, go to the Mayo clinic web site and type in chlamydia.
to answer you question. yes it could be a false positive.
