If your confirmation test is positive, and you've been with your partner for 9 years, and you haven't cheated on him, are you not concerned that he cheated on you?
It's theoretically possible that one of you had it prior to the relationship, but 9 years is a really long time. It clears from the body within 2 years in 90% of people.
There is no test for HPV for men, but you can assume by now that if you have it, he has it, too, wherever it came from.
Cin1 is not cancer - it's a pre-cancer, and it often goes away on it's own. Definitely follow up with your doctor, though. You'll likely be getting follow up pap smears to watch this.
In your shoes, I would get another test to be sure of the positive diagnosis, and if that is also positive, discuss the ramifications with your doctor (it sometimes goes away on its own and sometimes needs treatment) and also read up on HIV CIN 1 so you know what you are talking about when you tell your partner. If it is positive a second time, there is no doubt you should tell your partner.
