Just an update what had happened since my last communication on the 2tth of November 2009.
I am still worried. A daily thing since then really. To make things short and straight to the point. On 4 weeks I had a HIV test. Came back negative for HIV1 and HIV2.
I still kept having fevers and rashes on the sides of my body. Also up to today the occasional blood blister (1-2mm in dia) appears on the side of my tongue or inside of my cheek. Again they only last a couple of hours.
Exactly on 3 months I went back again and had another HIV test as well as full screen for Syphilis, Ghon.. Chlam... Hep C and I think there was one or two more. All came back negative again.
Problem is I'm still getting rashes on my sides which the doc mentioned looks to him like Fungal. He assured me it's nothing to be worried about. The thing is that since then my skin has become very sensitive. If I press and pull my finger with slight force over my skin it hurts deep under the skin for a couple of seconds. This is anyware on my upper body. My skin also seems to be dry and I get itching. If I scratch my skin leaves red welts (which never happened before) . And it stays there for a while. I seem to get pimples more than ever. I get burning sensations all over my back and upper arms and in my face.
Could it be any other type of STD not tested for? Maybe a Virus contracted in my skin? Could it somehow be Candida or some other fungas?
Was my last 3 month HIV test reliable? Should i test again?
I appreciate your views and comments and I'm sorry if there are questions that have been answered elsewhere. I know that this thing has taken my life over.....yet I do have genuine symptoms, they are not imagined.
Kind regards
Jakes
Yes, rash is a possible reaction to some medications. And rash is not typical of herpes either. If you have any further questions on herpes, post them in the herpes community.
Thanks 2terrified,
But howcome I have a light rash all over my body though? This is not normal for Herpes is it, or could it be the meds doing this?
We cannot tell you what you have definitely. Oral herpes? Maybe. But really, you should have been tested. Best testing this early would have been to test the actual blisters in your mouth, but too late now I guess. You could get tested for hsv1 &2 in 4 months by blood. Antibodies should be present then if you did contract herpes.
I'm sorry one more thing. The blisters are not painfull. My penis is totally clear from blisters.
Thank you again
