bumps around vagina

Okay. So here's the speil. 2 or 3 weeks ago I noticed a few bumps around my vagina. They were just a little itchy, skin coloured. The odd thing about all this is I'm a virgin. 22 years old, have never been penetrated. And none of my same sex partners and I have had vaginal contact or shared things or anything like that. I got tested last year and came back with nothing. I'm just concerned by this. Is there a way to pick things up besides bodily fluids? This is all very confusing.

Weird. Ill take that into thought, but at the same time I've never even had skin to skin in any way. No grinding or whatever you'd call it

Not with concern to HPV. Because it is transmitted via skin to skin contact there may be no visable signs, such as warts. High risk strains can cause cell changes while low risk strains can cause warts. HPV is very common and almost all sexually active adults will have it in their lifetime. Many never have any symptoms and it is not common to cause serious health risks.

Well I suppose the other concern would be open wounds and those sort of things, which I have been very careful about.

Sure, I understood from your post you hadn't had a risk. I just wanted to make it clear in the future that being a virgin or avoiding fluid exchange didn't protect you completely.

And I haven't grinded with anyone in that way before. As it says, I have not had contact of mine with anyone elses vagina. I honestly do not enjoy being touched by my partners. But thank you all for the input. As soon as I'm able to get the time off work, I'll definitely go to my gyn.

I disagree.

Thisisme88 is a virgin.   Her risk for getting gential warts is ZERO.

Being a virgin doesn't mean you can't get HPV. Skin to skin gential contact such as grinding without clothes can cause transmission. I am not suggesting you have a low risk HPV I just wanted to tell you this so you didn't think you were not at any risk. HPV warts rarely have any pain or itching.

multiple bumps aren't likely to be a cyst.

many things can cause things like this - allergies , yeast infections, irritation etc. Best to be seen and get a proper exam to get to the bottom of things.

As jessy already said - you are a virgin and have had no intimate contact with your genitals so you know it's not a std.

So could it be a cyst? I think I read something somewhere that said something about that. Not sure tho.

Hi

I commend you for being a virgin at 22.

Since you are a virgin, there is no way the bumps around your vagina are STD related.  Talk to your OB/GYN about these bumps, or what they could be.

The way one gets ucerative STDs is by having sex.
