Help with time frame for chlamydia and gonorrea testing

I need to test asap and it's really messing with my head. The local clinic says I have to wait 14 days for the urine test yet lots on the Internet say 7 days is sufficient and the test results are accurate after 7. Can anyone on here shed some light on this please?
