STD Risk from Massage and Handjob

I was in China for a week (major cities) staying at luxury hotels and decided a few days ago to go to one of the in house spas. The masseuse was always dressed and washed my feet (and hence her hands were at least somewhat washed) after I had showered and then have me a massage, where I was nude. It was much more sensual than I had requested and her hands sometimes went on my butt but not deep inside. She later convinced me to agree to a happy ending (she wanted to do more but I refused). Afterwards, I noticed a few cuts on my legs which I did know I had. There no kissing or my touching her and I do not believe she ever touched her genitals. How at risk am I for any STDs (including HPV or HSV) or other skin disorders.  Is this something I should discuss with my wife and doctor?

your provider is under educated on herpes and needs to update their education on it so that they aren't scaring their patients needlessly!!!

both Dr Hook and I have responded to you - if you don't believe what we've told you so far, I can't imagine that I could add more at this point that you would find believable.

Grace,

My doctor scared me a lot yesterday by saying I could be risk for herpes via hand genital transmission. He said to wait and see if sores develop. Is he correct? Should I refain from sex with my spouse? Does it make sense to get tested for HSV? How long does it take for sores to appear post infection.

Many thanks!!!

staph is present on everyone's skin.

no symptoms, no reason to think mrsa. about 1 out of ever 3 of us are carriers of it so getting a nasal swab to see if you are one wouldn't have anything to do with this encounter.

Is Staph or MRSA a possibility? Are there tests for these conditions?
