Is it early stages of herpes?

So exactly 3.5 days ago, I had unprotected sex with a man. Turns out he has herpes (not sure if it is HSV-1 or HSV-2, but most likely stage 2). I have been paranoid ever since, and have probably been making up symptoms up in my head... until today. Yesterday I went to see a doctor, and she said that i should only start worrying when I start to see lesions in my vaginal area. I have read that people can have HSV-2 and not have lesions, or very minor ones. How common is this? Also, I woke up this morning with a sore throat, and white spots on my tonsils and uvula. It feels almost like the start of strep throat (which I have had twice already). And then, I noticed my tailbone is very sore and hurts when I sit down/stand up. I have also read this could be a sign of herpes. I haven’t experienced any of the flu like symptoms, or malaise yet. What is the likelihood I have HSV-2?

Hi, those who contract herpes 2 genital are almost always those in monogomus long term relationships where one person is infected. So getting herpes from a one time affair with him not having any genital sores at the time, is really close to zero.  Also flu like symptoms would appear after a first time outbreak. Its my opinon he has oral hsv1.
