I got blamed and now I am freaked out!

So, I get a message from a guy I dated a year ago asking if I had something to tell him. I said no, but called him anyway. He went on to say he had a break out of "ingrown hair looking pimples" all over his pubic region and penis. He said he blamed his current girlfriend (at first) since they had been together for six months, but then the girl he slept with after me sent him a message about her outbreak. She claimed that her husband (yes, she was cheating on her husband with my ex) had not been unfaithful (this time!) and that it must have been someone my ex slept with- or me! I have NEVER had a break out or ANY OTHER SYMPTOM! They both broke out around the same time (which was a year after me, but she was a few weeks behind him according to her). Since my ex, I went to the doctor and underwent tests and sterilization with endometrial ablation, which is a very intense situation, but I don't know if Ithose tests would have picked up STDs or if that situation would have caused a breakout. Nothing showed up. I have not had an abnormal pap, the doctor didn't notice anything, AND the two guys I dated after my ex and my new husband (of 6 months) are symptom free. Could it have been me? I am really concerned and feel like I am getting psychosomatic symptoms... or maybe something more?

the odds of a std showing up on your former partner a year later and it being from you after he's had multiple partners is unlikely.

odds are you have never been tested for herpes to know your status. ask your provider for a type specific herpes igg blood test for the peace of mind you probably need right now :)

I say change your number and forget about it...... Or you could get tested to rule yourself out.. Just because you never had symptoms dosent mean u arent a carrier but more than likely you would have had them.... Get tested rule yourself out and be at peace... GoodLuck!!!
