Sti?Vericele?

I’ll keep it brief. 3 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with a close friend of mine. She says she hasn’t been with anyone in a year. Flash forward to Friday. My left testicle has been causing me some issues. At first, it was a tingling that comes and goes. I figure that (knowing how I am) I am probly just over thinking things and that I need to just relax. Thing is, it hasn’t gone away. When I took the time to inspect my testicles I don’t have any swelling or redness (that seem out of the ordinary) but I do have a vein like structure close to the front mid left/front mid bottom of my testicles that seems to be the trigger. When I touch it it sends a wave of discomfort across my left side. I don’t think it’s Chlamydia, I don’t have burning during urniation, discharge or anything like that. I’m not gunna lie my attention is slowly shifting towards the big C.

Any ideas?

So there is a line on the scrotum called the scrotal raphe. It's down the middle of it, and it separates the left and right sides.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrotal_septum#/media/File:Figure_28_01_02.JPG has a pretty decent image of it.

Is that what you are feeling, or are you feeling a swollen vein?

Any symptom that comes and goes is not likely to be an STD symptom. Tingling is also likely to be more an anxiety symptom, and not an STD symptom.

However, if you're concerned, you can easily go to your doctor, an STD clinic, or go online and get tested. There's no reason to sit and worry about it when testing is so easy - just literally go pee in a cup.

Certainly, if your thoughts are going towards cancer, go get it checked. If you haven't ever had your testicles checked out, get that done and find out if things are okay.

I did end up seeing a doctor for both my std risk and the possibility of a artifact on my testicles he didn’t seem too worried about my lump and put me on antibiotics just in case but didn’t think it was std related. Thank you for your reply :)
It is definitely a swollen vein it runs horizontally across my left testicle internally. It’s kinda hard to explain but it’s like where it should be smooth and round I feel a vein
If the doctor says it's okay, it's okay. You could always get a second opinion, but I'd guess it's probably fine.

Did you point out what you were concerned about?
