10 Months Later: Could I have caught herpes?

My last girlfriend had herpes. She told me way before we started having sex so we made sure to always use a condom and to never have sex if there was any sign of a sore. It's been over 10 months since we broke up and the last time I've had sex. I haven't shown any symptoms of herpes or felt anything unnatural on my genitals but I was wondering is there still a chance that I could have caught herpes from her? The blood test is very expensive and I want to know if I'm still at a high enough risk to make the test worth it.

Hi, with no symptoms testing would not be recommended.
