Anal and pubic itching and rash

I have psoriases and for as long As I can remember my pubic area itches like crazy and in the summer I can't keep it dry and I develop an intense rash in the pubic folds and terrible itching around my anus. I am to ashamed to see a doctor about these issues and these areas. The pubic rash gets so bad that it gets painful to walk. Anyone else out there with these issues especially anyone with psoriases?

Unfortunately, you probably did post in the wrong forum. I am sure the other forums will help you ease your discomfort. Good luck to you.

This is probably in the wrong section as there is no sexual connection. I have used anti itch cream , anti fungal and bacterial stuff to no avail. I even tried using diaper rash ointment to help keep it dry and covered and while it helps keep it relatively dry doesn't cure the problem.

I think I can help you but you do not say whether or not you had an exposure, a sexual one. During the summer, heat rash can develop and can come from either constricting clothing, trapped moisture, clogged pores, etc. The itching around the anus could be purititis ani or anal itching for simple terms. You may need to get some anti itch creams or seek out a physician. You have nothing to worry about. Physicians see unusual cases all the time and they are there for a reason to help.
