A Question of Oil

Nothing deep or involved here, but what in your experience is the best lubricant to use by the woman to give her husband or significant other a hand job?

Those $15 oils that I've seen seem to be all massage orientated and work their way into the skin or evaporate too quickly. I found one in a purple bottle there (I can't remember the name) it was one of the better ones. It lasted for a while, offered good sensation, and it doesn't run all over the place like baby oil.
What I'd like to find for my wife is a flavored oil so that their's the great sensation of a lubricated stroke and no weird taste (like the others) if she's switching up between oral and digital.

Yes, I got the jokes.  No use getting too serious what with all the world falling down around us.  But, check out Walmart's intimate oil section near their pharmacy for quite a selection.  I just wondered if these $15 oils are any better than the $3 baby oil?

If you're going to look in the auto department for handjob lube, you really can't beat axle grease.

Thanks for all the input (10W-40?!).  Even Walmart sells a half dozen or so intimate or massage oils.  Just wondering if such items are any better than cheaper baby oil or something else.

Normal moisturiser (for face or body) works pretty good, preferably quite thick stuff.  Some moisturisers include a slight tingly sensation on the skin which can be nice ;-)  I've used some L'Oreal For Men stuff, can't remember the exact name off-hand, facial moisturiser.  It wasn't what I bought it for but it works well!

Eck... usually cold lube.  Worse than the doctors office!  (um assuming doctors gave hand jobs lol)

All the massage oils seem to work themselves into the skin way to fast and things dry up, then you have to stop and re-lube everything.
Petroleum jelly seems to be too viscous for my liking, but lasts longer. It's also more difficult to clean up, unlike the KY that's water soluble.
The gels, like KY (the old stand-by) seem to last pretty long but some have that clinical smell. I haven't tried looking for something with a more pleasant aroma, but I'm sure there's something out there. I think I tried astroglide (or something like that) once, it was a good cross between an oil and gel.

Being able to grab a little more lube while still maintaining actions on the objective is a welcome talent. Keeping a little glob of jelly (this might be TMI) on the belly or your thigh will give her a quick place to pick up a little more lube without missing a stroke. The jelly won't run as much as the oils either.

If you can spare the bedsheets, then just a huge bottle of baby oil spread all over your bodies gets lube everywhere and keeps things even more fun. It's a lot cheaper than the oils made specific for bedroom fun too.
