Fluoxetine (anti-depressant), lack of sexual arousal
I've been taking Fluoxetine (generic Prozac) for a few years now and about 6 months ago I upped my dosage. My sex drive on the lower dose was already low, but now it's almost non-existent. At first it wasn't a problem because I haven't been seeing anyone, but now that I am I would really like to try and fix this problem.
Since I'm female feel like this is going to be a more difficult process.
Would anyone know of any supplements that can help this side effect??

Thank you for your reply, but I do know the side effects of Fluoxetine. I'm trying to fix the side effects...

Serious side effects:
-seizure (convulsions);
-tremors, shivering, muscle stiffness or twitching;
-a red, blistering, peeling skin rash;
-problems with balance or coordination; or
-agitation, confusion, sweating, fast heartbeat.
Less serious side effects:
-drowsiness, dizziness, weakness;
-runny nose, sore throat, headache, flu symptoms;
-nausea, diarrhea, changes in appetite;
-weight changes;
-decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm; or
-dry mouth, increased sweating.
Talk to your doctor to see if she/he can give you hormone supplements that increase sex drive. It's going to be difficult to find the right comination, but give it time.
