Men-Would you date an erotic actress performer?

Most guys think all porn is the same. If you say pornstar you think of a woman with fake boobs giving a horrible introduction about how much of a "*****" she is and just how bad she wants the unattractive guys junk.
But, what about the women like Dita Von Teese? A nude model and respected burlesque performer who's never done a boy/girl scene. Although, Dita has done heavy fetish (bondage, latex etc..) movies.

My question is do guys know the difference between erotica and XXX smut? Or, do you see any woman who is a "sex worker" as just that a sex worker?

The talks about respect are of course good, but for myself.. I dont know...

Even If I would be very attracted to that person and we would have it going, the thought of her being with somebody else will follow me all the time and I will not be able to coup with that at a certain moment...

So for me it would be a short relationship or she would have to start working n another job...

First of all, I think that all types of sex workers should be treated with respect, whether we speak about professional porn actresses/actors, amateur cam girls, erotic artists, high class call girls, street prostitues. There are certainly many differences between these categories and between the people who do these professions or activities, but they have one thing in common: we have no right to degrade them or to despise them or to feel superior to them.
By saying this I am inclined to say that a professional erotic artist should not fall into the trap of feeling superior to for example a „cheap“ porn actress who does some kind of „dirty“ XXX videos or something less „classy“. From my perspective neither erotica nor sex is dirty or despicable. I think that we should not be tolerant just of high art erotica and look down on people who are into „just animalistic“ sex/porn etc. There is nothing wrong with erotica, there is nothing wrong with artistic performances related to sex, and there is nothing wrong with purely animalistic sex in the movies/videos or real life.
In other words, it seems sad that sex workers have established something like a hierarchy and members of one category feel superior to others.
The same kind of „hierarchisation“ happens in (almost) all professions, e.g. if our society does not treat teachers with respect, there will be soon some kind of division among teachers themselves – when e.g. top managers are more valued than teachers, you will soon see that secondary school teachers feel superior to primary school teachers, private school teachers will despise state school teachers etc...
As for my personal impressions about the question „would you date an erotica actress“, I have never been in such a situation in my real life, so I can just offer my „theory“ or some speculations, but I´m trying to be as honest as possible. I think that I could date a sex worker –whether a classis XXX actress or an erotic artist of high quality – especially if  she had started her career before we met or fell in love. If my girlfriend wanted to start this career, I wouldn´t be very happy though – to be honest, my personality is quite pre-occupied with things related to intimate relationships (sex, emotions, security, strong attachment, attraction, lust, love etc...) and I am the happiest person if these things are exclusive in our relationship and if none of us gets into these areas (whether it is sex, erotica or sensual art or emotional intimacy) outside our relationship (whether it would be with friends or in a job). That´s why I would prefer to have a girlfriend or wife who is not active in this field anymore. If she started to run this career while being in a relationship with me, I might feel quite worried that she is missing something and that she will find some of her needs met in her job in a more satisfying way than in our relationship. However, this may reflect my own personal traits which are probably not a typical sample of psychological health, so it is just my way, not a general rule how it should be and I cannot say that I am „proud of“ these features of my – slightly pre-occupied and oversensitive - personality.
But I am sure that if I had met a sex worker and if there had been an opportunity to start a relationship with her, I would not have backed away from the chance just because of the fact that her job was sex-related. This situation would be full of specific factors which could have set a completely different configuration of aspects as usual and it is hard to say how it would develop in the long run. But the same can be said about all kinds of other professions which may become a potential threat for my preoccupied and oversensitive personality (e.g. jobs which do not allow her any free time to spend with me, travelling on frequent occasions requiring long periods of separation etc...)

I think it depends on how small minded people are. while I enjoy all forms of womens bodies Im a female to by the way. I enjoy looking doesn't mean I want to have sex with them but I enjoy it all the same. I think there can be beauty in the human body when naked and it doesn't require having sex. I am sure there are men who feel the same but there is always those small minded people whom u meet everywhere....either way I think everyone is human and needs to be loved regardless of occupation if there wasn't a want for those type of jobs then there wouldn't be any :) There is always people whom I think can connect no matter what the difference you have based on "normal"

Honestly like any other decision I would make, it would be based upon personal values etc,,   To be honest though what you are talking about is largely considered fetish modeling.  Actually male female sex?  I would have think about it, given that Ron Jeremy once said that sooner or later all porn stars will be exposed to and catch Herpes.

I think we do get the difference though it is Anais Nin vs Flynt, Henry and June vs.  Debbie does Godzilla ( in 3D) etc.
