Bad anal play: could it be the cause?

Hi,

This is very uncomfortable for me to ask, but I'm worried sick.
Last Friday my girlfriend finally convinced me to try anal masturbation (I'm a male).
I didn't really want to, but we did it anyway. The thing is, since I wasn't getting any satisfaction,
it went on for a while... and 15 minutes later, my anus was hurting a bit. But it went away after that,
and I didn't feel any pain afterwards.

On Monday (2 days later) I came home with I thought was a serious need for a bowel movement.
But it wasn't, it was something like a blood clot just hanging from the very anal opening.
I quickly did some research, and I think it's a prolapsed hemorrhoid, since I can push it back in,
and it will stay in, at least until another bowel movement.

It doesn't hurt, but it's hugely discomforting, since I'm constantly worried about it popping out.

Could this really be only hemorrhoids and not another serious complication?
If they are, are they likely to go away with simple care and baths?
If so, how long?

I'm very shy and I really don't want to comment about this with my girlfriend.
I ended up with no pleasure at all and lots of concerns...

Thank you in advance.
PM.

By your description, it does sound like it's a hemorrhoid (a distended vein) that was aggravated by the anal stimulation. It's likely that her fingernail scrapped against it and cut it or the constant rubbing might have pulled on it. In any event, an inflamed hemorrhoid is extremely uncomfortable and those over-the-counter ointments do little to mitigate the discomfort. In time, it'll heal... but, it can take weeks. Avoid spicy foods and foods that contain seeds or nuts because those irritate hemorrhoids. Pushing it back up (when you take a shower) is very effective... but, it takes several attempts before it'll stay up. And, don't feel bad about telling your girlfriend that you don't care for that practice. If she suggests it again or insists, tell her that you'll agree only if she uses her tongue (I'm serious) ... I've gone through what you described with two men and I suggested the tongue as the only option. One never tried or mentioned it again; and, the other man took me up on the suggestion... it was "interesting" and most importantly... it was painless!

By the sound of it, you seem to be doing everything possible to hasten the healing process. Unfortunately, it takes quite a while to completely heal. It's very uncomfortable,
I know...you just have to keep pushing it up until it stays up. Many people who have hemorrhoids live with them... but, if it becomes persistently problematic, by all means, see a doctor... hemorrhoids can be removed surgically or by laser. Take care!

Just thought I'd drop by an update.

I'm pretty sure this is a hemorrhoid by now, altough I'm not sure if I already had it before and this scene only aggravated it, or if it originally developed on its own because of it.

It has still never bled, altough I constantly feel this uncomfortable "lump" in my butt everywhere I go... and when I'm running, oh my word, the discomfort is unbearable! It doesn't hurt or itch, but it feels like jogging with an uncomplete bowel movement! Argh!

4 days later, it doesn't prolapse as much as it did at first. It's still there but I think it's softer, and the only time it prolapses outside of the anus is during bowel movements. This is a good thing, right?

I'm taking 2 sitz baths a day and drinking a lot of water as well, besides cutting in processed foods, something I didn't normally do. I hoped the "swelling" sensation would be better by now, but I guess I must be more patient...

Is there something else I can do to speed up the healing?
When should I begin to worry and seek medical attention if it doesn't go away?
I've noticed it for four days now and I'm constantly feeling it there... doesn't give my mind any rest.

I hope I'm not "nagging" too much, but I really can't discuss this with anyone else. Especially taking into account how it happened.

Yes, it's literally "a pain in the *** ." But, normal routine activities, like jogging should be fine. It's sitting for long periods of time that could become challenging. Take care!

Thank you for such a quick response.

Since this is all very new to me (never happened before as far as I'm aware) I was and still am awfully concerned about what to expect from this.

I keep pushing the bugger up at every private moment I can get; it never really descends out of the anus but it lowers itself at the very tip of it, and it's rather uncomfortable. I'm guessing it should be quite big on the inside, I never knew that a simple tear on the tissue could turn into a hemorrhoid...

I hope it doesn't bleed... meanwhile I'll take up on your suggestions. Not sure I can bear with this for more than a week though... it drives me insane to feel like I constantly have "something" stuck in there the whole time!

By the way, is jogging okay with these types of hemos?

Best Regards,
P
