Thank you for such a quick response.
Since this is all very new to me (never happened before as far as I'm aware) I was and still am awfully concerned about what to expect from this.
I keep pushing the bugger up at every private moment I can get; it never really descends out of the anus but it lowers itself at the very tip of it, and it's rather uncomfortable. I'm guessing it should be quite big on the inside, I never knew that a simple tear on the tissue could turn into a hemorrhoid...
I hope it doesn't bleed... meanwhile I'll take up on your suggestions. Not sure I can bear with this for more than a week though... it drives me insane to feel like I constantly have "something" stuck in there the whole time!
By the way, is jogging okay with these types of hemos?
Best Regards,
P
Yes, it's literally "a pain in the *** ." But, normal routine activities, like jogging should be fine. It's sitting for long periods of time that could become challenging. Take care!
Just thought I'd drop by an update.
I'm pretty sure this is a hemorrhoid by now, altough I'm not sure if I already had it before and this scene only aggravated it, or if it originally developed on its own because of it.
It has still never bled, altough I constantly feel this uncomfortable "lump" in my butt everywhere I go... and when I'm running, oh my word, the discomfort is unbearable! It doesn't hurt or itch, but it feels like jogging with an uncomplete bowel movement! Argh!
4 days later, it doesn't prolapse as much as it did at first. It's still there but I think it's softer, and the only time it prolapses outside of the anus is during bowel movements. This is a good thing, right?
I'm taking 2 sitz baths a day and drinking a lot of water as well, besides cutting in processed foods, something I didn't normally do. I hoped the "swelling" sensation would be better by now, but I guess I must be more patient...
Is there something else I can do to speed up the healing?
When should I begin to worry and seek medical attention if it doesn't go away?
I've noticed it for four days now and I'm constantly feeling it there... doesn't give my mind any rest.
I hope I'm not "nagging" too much, but I really can't discuss this with anyone else. Especially taking into account how it happened.
By the sound of it, you seem to be doing everything possible to hasten the healing process. Unfortunately, it takes quite a while to completely heal. It's very uncomfortable,
I know...you just have to keep pushing it up until it stays up. Many people who have hemorrhoids live with them... but, if it becomes persistently problematic, by all means, see a doctor... hemorrhoids can be removed surgically or by laser. Take care!
