so i bet you vagina is fine. i would go to a doctor to conferm but these tips might keep you at ease:

about you vagina looking odd:

-every vagina looks different!!

-ask a trusted female adult (female guardian or mother, aunt or sister) to take a look. dont be embarrased!! hey have one too and its better to reassure yourself that your normal then to walk around thinking your a freak right?
-if your not comforable asking someone, look at your vagina with a hand held mirror, then google "vagina" and look at the images, some pictures will show diesesed vaginas, some will be cartoon vaginas, but alot should be normal vaginas. rememer that yours probally wont look exactly like those pictures, but it will give your an idea of what a vagina generally looks like. i know this is a weird thing to do but it will reasure you that every womans vagina looks different!
-also who ever changed you diper when you were a baby would probally notice if you vagina looked abnormal.

about the odour:

-personal hygine! you should shower once a day, if not, every other day.
it is important to spend a good about of time to clense your girl parts! we have alot of nooks and crannies down there so a quick wipe down there usually isnt enough.

- make sure to use alot of water and a just little bit of soap. too much soap can be irritating! using hypo allergenic or unscented soap is best as it will cause less irritation. you dont want irritation because it can actually make the odour worse!!

-be gental too. use your hand instead of a wash cloth or loufa (this may cause irritation as well, you dont want to break your skin) and make sure you get into every nook of the outside part of your vagina. do not wash inside your vagina as this will cause a serious infection, and lead to more odour.

- make sure your hands are clean if you touch your vagina (eg. inserting a tampon or scratching an itch, remember that too much itching can be a sign of something you must see the doctor fo)r

i hope these tips will help get rid of the odour and give your more confidence about your vagina.

but! i still seriously suggest you go see a female doctor as soon as you work up the courage. i bet you are fine but a doctor can examine you and ask you questions, and reassure you that things are fine. they can also give you good tips.

many girls go in to the doctor to ask questions about their vaginas! its not a big deal, really, i promise you. the first time you go i know you will be so nervous and embarrased but when you leave you will wonder why you were so embarrased.

doctors see women with babies coming out of them, women with stds and blue and bright red vaginas! bleeding vaginas! the gross vaginas you see on google!!!, and i bet they see women with much worse odor that you! ( a smell that they can smell with their pants on!!)

dont worry!! take my advice, and once you build up the courage to go to the doctor.. go.. asap!! its not that bad, i promise you! :) also every girl should get checked out anyways once they get their first period!!! good luck sweet heart!

You need to see a Dr. for sure! You could have an infection of some sort that will only clear with antibiotics. Women have natural odors but if you can smell something when you open your legs, that isn't normal and should be examined as soon as possible. Don't be embarrassed to talk to a Dr about this, it's nothing that they haven't dealt with before. Myself, I prefer a woman OB Dr because I feel like they can relate to me more than a male.
