I have been swollen on the inside for a long time and don't know how to fix it....

I have looked everywhere but have yet to find a reason and something to make it better. Yet I am extremely swollen on the inside of my vagina. It has been like this for awhile and everything I find is about after sexual intercourse but I am a virgin...

I am 19 and my periods are pretty irregular. I started my period at 14 but have gone as long as 6 months without one. The swelling is always there but around the time of my periods I will burn and itch and gets extremely red.

When off my period it again stays swollen and sometimes hurts but always seems to have a white discharge.

I'm not sure what it is and its a little embarrassing...Could someone please help me know what it is or what I could do to take away the swelling?

I agree...Thank you both...A reason I haven't gone to a doctor yet was because one it doesn't hurt all the time but it does stay swollen but also because I have no health insurance anymore...But I will talk to my mom about going...Thank you again.

With the symptoms you describe I honestly can't believe you never thought of going to a see a doctor.  Medical conditions cannot be correctly diagnosed by strangers on forums.  You need a diagnosis and possible treatment.  Follow John's advice get to a doctor ASAP.

You should visit a doctor for sure. The white discharge may point to Candida albicans. Or yeast infection. You can get it without an intercourse, just due to certain hormonal changes. But the condition should be treated and not left alone.

Visit a doctor as soon as possible he will know which tests to do and he will prescribe you the needed treatment.

Regards, John.
