contraception

I am looking for a contraception that doesn't make me feel ill.  I have tried the implanon and I am taking that out due to the side affects.ie, hair loss, dizziness & constant bleeding.   I have been told that there is a mini pill that has no estrigen and I should try this.  I have tried many different types of pills and i cannot seam to find one that suits my body.  Should i try this one also?.  What side affects does it have?

That ok,  We are the same in Aus.  I saw my doctor yesterday and she perscribed me a new brand that is out. Hopefully this should work. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Sorry, I've got no idea about individual brands or products.  My wife took the mini-pill for a while, no idea what brand it was.  Here in the UK the contraceptive pill has to be prescribed by a doctor, so we just take whatever they advise.

Thanks. I checked the internet and found a mini pill called Microgynon. This is good and i am willing to give it a go. The only problem is that there is a Microgynon 30 & a Microgynon 20.   What is the difference?.  Is the 30 stronger than the 20? The internet wouldn't say.

Mini pill may be worth trying.  It is a bit of a nuisance since you must have a very strict routine about taking it - it must be taken at the same time every single day, give or take 30 minutes, and unlike the standard pill you can't get away with it if you forget occasionally.

You could also try a different approach, such as an IUD (coil).
