How to get rid of humidifier and live like normal people

I have been suffering from chronic sinusitus for about an year. Turns out it was bad air in Delhi, India. So I moved out to a better city. Its okay there with one exception. I have a computer related job and I have to sit in a Central AC block. If I use a humidifier, I get zero sinus, its amazing.
But if I switch it off (humidifier) even for an hour, it starts building up around my eyes, there is heaviness and I can literally feel the weight of mucus in specific areas like eyebrows and behind eyes. If I use a warm compress it flows down into my throat like PND.
So I am doing great with a humidifier, no issues at all. But I want to get rid of this. Why do people around me don't have issue with the dry ac air? What am I missing? something in diet?
