Depression/Insomnia go together in my experience. Only by being able to ignore the lack of sleeping as others have dictated can it be coped with. Insomnia's a world wide problem, millions of us suffer it. BUT, if you can learn to ignore it then you'll come to accept  the long hours that you have been awake. Not easy, sleeoing tablets can help, but they are addictive ~  I know to my cost. You must try to recall anything that you may have done/not done that could be bugging you. Deal with whatever problems you recognise & get on with your life. Depression's nasty, so's Anxiety, as you're experiencing it currently. You can get your life back, by taking whatever steps are necessary to relax & gain confidence. Hope you manage to do it! Best wishes.George
