I was diagnosed with mild obstructive sleep apnea in an in-hospital overnight sleep study.
I lost about 10% of my body weight and that seems to have cleared my OSA problem. I have other sleep problems, but I have not yet had to go to a CPAP. I understand if I wish to go to a CPAP my doctor requires I do another overnight in hospital (or other sleep study center) CPAP test to determine the best "settings" for me. So far I am CPAP free.
Do you normally have sinus issues? How high is your humidifier set? If it's too high, it can cause a headache.
Hi when i first started with my CPAP Machine i was told to use it during the day sitting watching TV , that helped me get used to it when i was in bed and it worked for me , it will take time to get used to ,
But it is well worth the wait , now i can sleep 8 hours none stop and i feel as if i have had a good nights sleep
I hope this will help you out ,Bob
