I wake up from my sleep and I feel a tingling sensation throughout my body. I feel an invisible line of fabric begin to form over my body and it starts spreading and it covers my body like a dress. it's making layers but it feels wrong because I am wearing an invisible dress. the invisible dress clings to me I am panicking because I think I'm going crazy. The dress flows over my body like some kind of tidal wave and I can feel the layers and it feels so wrong. my neck hurts. This sensation continues for like 5 mins then goes away. Thought I was close to loosing my mind. My head still hurts and I'm afraid to sleep. This sounds like it isn't a big deal to anyone reading it but if you've experienced what I just have experienced 20 mins ago you wouldnt be laughing. I thought I was going insane. It's like experiencing a nightmare while awake. This was all happening while i was awake by the way. I currently have a terrible cold and a terribly irregular sleep schedule. I usually go to sleep at 12 or 2 am. I fell asleep at 5am today.
Sounds like you were in sort of a half-awake half-asleep state, similar to a hypnapompic hallucination. You'll probably do yourself a big favor by getting on a more reasonable and consistent sleep schedule.
