Why is my bipap not working when I sleep? I've always been a shallow breather.

I'm on bipap for copd, scleroderma. Interstitial lung disease. I have had the poor lady working with the bipap running in circles I'm calling every month telling her it's not working or does not have enough pressure. I'm waking in the night at 69/70 struggling to breath. I thought the bipap was to pressure air in when I stopped or slowed my breathing to low. I don't know what to do. My pulmonologist just prescribes more meds my insurance won't fill. I go to bed fine, my normal being 93, to only awake to very low numbers. Once it was 62. My heart rate and blood pressure were through the roof. I'm a low blood pressure person. Very terrifying. What can I do? I know I'm dying but I'm 48 and want as much time as possible. This low oxygen is worse? I'm so terrified.
