shaking while asleep

I have been having odd experiences while asleep. Its hard to explain but here it is the best i can describe. In the mid of the night, I wake up to the feeling of vibrations/shaking of my body and the bed, my eyes have to be open becasue i can see but cant move them, ill have a major feeling of fear for a couple seconds, but cant move a bit....then it will go away and i feel exhausted, dizzy and just icky all around. I thought at first this could be sleep paralysis, but im not seeing creepy things or anything like that, just my bedroom.

Could this be seizures??

Hiya, this may be siezures as alot of people get what is called Nocturnal Grand mal seizures, How iften does it happen and how long has it been happening? Also i'm taking u sleep alone, cause if u had someone else there to observe this while it was happening that would make ur life alot easier....

Go to the docs and i feel he/she will refer u over to a neurologist who will perform some tests and may keep u in hospital for a few nights to monitor u while u sleep, He may hook u up to some electodes to monitor the electrical activity in ur brain, it doesn't hurt at all, just may be a little awkward to sleep with them on thats all.  Good-luck and hope all comes back fine.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Diagnosis of seizure is through laboratory tests such as EEG. Another differential could be exposure to cold which may lead to chills.  If it persists, you may needs to have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management. Your medical history and some tests w3ill help. Take care and best regards.
