I have a similar problem to you. The best way to fall asleep is NOT to use your phone- the blue spectrum light will wake you up. Instead, if you can't fall asleep, turn on a dim light and read something, preferably not too gripping, or do a sudoku or crossword puzzle. Do this until you feel tired, then try to sleep again.
