Trouble falling asleep..

I have horrible trouble being able to fall asleep... I'm a teenager and currently do not play any sports or exhausting activities. I am under lots of stress due to family situations. Unfortunately, I can not sleep until I wear myself out so much that I pass out. Simply laying my head down will leave me laying there waiting to fall asleep for an hour +... I have to use my phone and wear my eyes out until they're dry to fall asleep. Does this sound like a problem? How can I fix it?

I have a similar problem to you. The best way to fall asleep is NOT to use your phone- the blue spectrum light will wake you up. Instead, if you can't fall asleep, turn on a dim light and read something, preferably not too gripping, or do a sudoku or crossword puzzle. Do this until you feel tired, then try to sleep again. Hope this helps.
