woosh feeling

Hello My Name is linda, I'm 33 i have mental health issues i just recently come out of a Psychiatric hospital after 7 months, i keep experencing a quick woosh feeling like quick tingling feelings in my head also quick dizzy feelings to this as been on going now for 3 days but's not the first time i have had this i also suffer with anxiety as well. I really don't know what is is or what is cousing it please can you help.

I have a kind of woosh head rush sensation sometimes when im trying to sleep or just lying down tired. The best way to describe it is  like the woosh sound a car makes when it speeds by. But iit kinna thumps inside my head and makes it impossible to sleep. The only thing that makes it go away when it starts is listening to music. Any idea what this is or am i just a rare head case? lol

Hi, welcome to the forum, tingling in the head is unusual finding. Firstly, migraine can be suspected, if so the triggering factor for your headache like specific food, smell etc has to be ruled out.

The other possibility is there may be some brain pathology, there is disease called as Short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache with conjunctival injection and tearing (SUNCT). Cerebellopontine angle arteriovenous malformation is one cause of secondary SUNCT syndrome, and MRI is indicated to rule out its presence. Even neuralgia can be another possibility. I suggest you to consult neurologist and discuss these possibility. Take care and regards.
