i'd ask for another scan in about 1 week coz sometimes 6 weeks can be a little early to get a heartbeat. Good luck!!
at 6 weeks, one dya can make the difference. i would wait until next week and get another scan, that will be more accurate.
maybe it's just me, but unless they "lost" the heartbeat(found it, then it never cme "back so to say), i don't think you should schedule a d/n/c.....according to what i posted below, your levels seem fine....i'd hold off to see if you pass naturally, or get a HB at your next appt.....

It is very possible that you are still pregnant with a healthy baby. Many people do not get a heartbeat until 7-8 weeks.
Another way to see if your pregnancy is advancing, is to get your blood level HCG tested again. If it is over 39,000 then there is still hope. If it is under 39,000 then you are miscarrying.
I agree with the above posters. Oftentimes 6 weeks is too early to detect a heartbeat. I would inquire about setting up another scan next week. Good Luck
Hey the same thing is happening with me, but don't give up , because i am not , I am supposed to be eight weeks pregnant but the scale shows I am 5 1/2 weeks and all there is , is a sac so she already tried to discuss a d&c with me , but I am not letting that happen because unless I am sure that would feel like an abortion to me
