brown discharge does not necessarily mean pregnancy. it could be old blood that is being discharged from your body.

if your doc is refusing to give you a blood test...find a new doctor. a GOOD doctor listens to all your fears and concerns and would not refuse a blood test if you are that worried.

implantation bleeding typically happens around the time your period is due (which NORMALLY is 14 days after ovulation and  the amount of time it takes for the fertilized egg to reach the uterus and attach itself) and is usually a very light spotting. nothing more than a panty liner or pad for an entire day. i personally never had implantation bleeding when i got pregnant.  when i did it was just an increased amount of discharge.
