Would a lump due to testicular cancer have similar symptoms to a varicocele?
Hi!
I can understand your embarrassment but until you show this to a doctor, a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given. However, yes, ‘a bag of worms’ like feeling is usually due to varicoceles and not due to cancer. Also, yes, the swelling due to a varicocele may reduce on lying down. Also, since fertility is an issue with long standing varicoceles, some surgeons prefer to repair it. So, please show this to a doctor. Take care!
The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
And it's not really a lump. More like a bag of worms...
It's just I don't see why a cancerous lump would disappear because I laid down..
