Welcome to the Pub. What a conversation piece this photo is!! Definately can relate this one on thyroid treament hey??  

So what's everyone's thoughts here?.............. What going on?

(AR .... you may need to slip on a pair of these shoes tonite to play)   LOL just kidding buddy.

So how is eveyone's week ending? Mine has been non stop. I feel like   I'M   going to the prom!!!! ---- not my son.

I am flying around - dishing out money left and right............ for what????? ... I know ....I know....... his memories!!!!

AND......... my other son's digging into my wallet too!!! Geez....... when will it end.  (I'm pretty tight with cash - so this really stresses me out!!)

So LIVE - LOVE and LAUGH at the Pub tonite!!        I hope to sneek on once in a while.

Have fun my friends and please welcome all new comers. Can never have enough friends that can relate!!!   Right??

I looked back on my post and I just reflected back to my prom.

My mother dressed me up like such a dork - I looked more like a bride then a prom - goer.  

Funny.......... I ended up marrying the guy!!!!! I didn't have a wedding dress ~~~ - but for prom I was totally "decked" out!  LOL

i'd say that she's a long suffering thyroid patient and they are a group of useless surgeons/endocrinologists/GP's who have been giving her the run around for the last year!

just my guess, thats how i felt yesterday! :)

Its 330pm here in Toronto, Canada, and the sun is shining at its about 16 celsius (that's about 61 farenheit).  My kids just got home from school and are already complaining that they are bored.  Oy.

I like your interpretation of the pic, Helen!  I think that's exactly what it is - someone with a thyroid disorder who has been given the run around!  Too bad great doctors are few and far between.

Less than three weeks now for my second surgery.  God, I just want this mess to be over, but I realize that having Thyca :( means a lifetime of followups and testing.  More sad faces :(.

Better go entertain my little ones - maybe I'll put on a tutu and dance for them.

It is so funny - one of my girlfriends plays it to me all the time when we meet up coz we both LOVE shoes!  That pic made me think of it immediately.

Hey all!  If those were my shoes there would be two dachshund puppies chewing them up.  :-(   Lost a few nice ones lately (shoes, not puppies).

RQ - If my weeks keep turning out like the last few I just might move right in.  Sad thing is, I've lived in Utah my entire life and never been on a horse.

I'm just enjoying what's left of the sun and playing with my dogs and potting up some more orchids that I couldn't get to last night (too dark after midnight - stupid sun).

Someone pour me a drink - maybe it will make me care less about the headache and my eye hurting.  It might even help the stomach stuff (well, okay it won't but I won't care as much).

AR - I've got some denim 4" high heels - if you pour me a drink I'll let you borrow them tonight.  ;->

If them were my shoes my ankles would be Kankles. I have the weakest ankles ever!!! HA HA HA. I would walk off and BOOM the bone would all slide into the shoe and BOOM KANKLES.

I decided toahve me a drink last night too. It was good. I for some reason just do not feel like food!!!! OKAY no I am not taking up drinking. But Food has no appeal to me. Is that weird?


Come one UTAH momma we will ahve to go for a horse ride!!!! I will get the old one th at is the SAFEST ONE OF ALL for you so you can have a great 1st time ride!!!! I use to teach riding.

Hey - yeah, I'm behind the bar so DON'T STEP ON ME!  I hurt too much to move out of the way.

RQ:  It depends on the doctor.  My favorite doctor (I called him "Doogie" 'cause he was younger than me and looked 12) was younger, my surgeon (and maybe yours too??) is much younger, my endo is much older.   But the one thing they all have in common . . . they stay up to date and current on all of the latest medical research and advances.

What I *hate* is doctors with the "I know it all" god-complex.    They need to be put into AR-10's blender.

Hey, you guys were talking about proms?  Remember "Footloose?"    They filmed that at my high school while I was a junior.  Those prom clothing (blue tuxedos with ruffles and "Gunny Sax" dresses) were hideous but what we were wearing.  I can't even watch that movie without throwing up just a little in my mouth.  :-)
