TSH blood test

Hello, I just got a call from my Dr.s asst. to tell me that my TSH was .6 on a blood test that they did last week. I had Follicular/Pap. cancer and my thyroid was removed back in 04.
The Dr. wants me to come in and have the Thyrigen shots (spl.?) and then a body scan & ultrasound. I am also going through menopause (I'm 48). Could this have any effect on my TSH levels? I am scared that the cancer has spread.

The Menopause plays a big part is hormones being unstable.
I wouldnt panic until you get the full story.
Did you have RAI after your thyroid was removed?
Let us know how you go.

Thank you for your response, there is something I forgot to mention which could be important, the Dr. said that the thyroid antibodies was 0.7......do you know what that means? And yes I did have  RAI.
cheers,
Tia
