Dr. Kaur,
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my inquiry. However, I believe that you may have misread my question.
I do not have bruising. I actually ruptured the main vein. There was no pain or bruising associated. it simply disconnected, resulting in a softer erection. Before that, my erection was rock hard.
This was a rupture of the large vein that fills the penis with blood. There are other smaller veins that are fine, but they only have so much capacity, leading to an erection, but a softer one.
Can I reconnect that original large vein? Or somehow grow one of the small ones to take its place? It has been 2 years since this happened.
I just want to know if there is a way to make my erection rock hard again? Or am I doomed to keep a soft one. It still works, but I must concentrate during intercourse to keep it hard. Before my "accident", It would simply become rock hard with even a thought.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks!
Hello,
This can be penile trauma causing the bruising. Normally bruising due to non infectious causes would resolve within 8-10 days. Maintaining good genital hygiene, using soft underpants would help. Also take some anti inflammatory drugs after consulting your doctor. See a urologist if bruising persists after 10 days.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
