Various urological problems

Hi for a while now I have had foamy urine, and I have had to go much more frequent than usual, I usuall have to get up really early twice to go pee.  I can't just sleep through the night.  It is like I can't store as much urine.  If I drink alot of liquids, shortly thereafter, I will normally have to go twice almost back to back, and I will have that feeling like I really got to go bad even though I am not peeing a whole lot.  And sometimes when the stream is starting there is some discomfort at the base of the pubis/penis.

Hey Jordon, I am here with you and Lamsa because I am experiencing all the symptoms you mentioned for last 1 and a half month. Just for your information I am a lady and experience mild to a little moderate pain in my pelvic region but it is NOT acute and just like you I have to go ridiculous amounts of time to urinate than usual. Also like you I drink a lot of fluids which mainly include water and I have to immediately go to urine more number of times. I don't have any blood in the urine but at times it gets foamy and slightly smelly maybe because I  take antibiotics prescribed by urologist.

I have the same feeling on the storage of urine in the bladder. It seems to store less amount of urine and hence the frequency to urinate. I have a slow flow of urine and a very little one too. The only normal force and flow of urine is experienced in the morning. The first one that is, after that its just a dribble the whole day around. Even post voiding I have to stand in the toilet to let the remaining dribble pass.

I have also diagnoised with yeast infection candida-vulvitis becuase of the usage of antibiotic for which am being treated by inserting vaginal tablets.

What I wish to confirm is that whether anybody knows that Interstitial Cystitis is a bacterial infection or not. I mean if bacteria is found in urine culture test that means it should be cystitis and not IC as I have heard that IC doesnt have any infectious agent and hence cannot be seen in urine culture test.

Many thanks

Bella

The it is not really painful, mainly it is just a super frequency of urination when I drink alot of fluids.  And the foamyness is not always there, and seems like it has been getting less foamy, but I have to go ridiculous amounts of time when I drink alot of water, or any other fluids.

Peace to your mind and spirt.  I am not a doctor but I have  had those systems.  I found out my blood sugar levels were elevated.   This may be an initial sign of diabetes.   Though it may be something else entirely.

Go to your primary care physician and tell them everything. Insist on a physical exam of your reproductive system along with any blood work.  In the interim of your appointment.  Keep a detailed journal of the times and note weather the pain is getting worse. In addition anything else in your urine as color changes, fruity or other aroma.  If certain fluids make you urinate more often than others an if there are any other things happening like the shakes, anger, dizziness, appetite highs and lows, headaches etc...

Please when you find out no matter what the treatment is -please post your success!!  There are many of us and we all need greater access and responses.

Thank you!

My log-in is Lamsa
