Hello,
You are 14 years of age and a teenager. At this age, you can have many friends and then you will not feel sad. Try to find some good friends and talk to them and share your feelings. Do not indulge in physical activity at this age because the risk of STD’s transmission is always there.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Hi,

I have one daughter who is the same age as you, another daughter who is two years older and a son who is 19.
None of them are in a relationship. Getting involved with a boyfriend at the age of 14 can result in many problems.

From what you have written here it seems that you are insecure about yourself, this will cause you to possibly get involved with the wron kind of friends. I don't know how your relationship with your parents is. If it is good than gather your courage and discus your problems with lonelyness. If you don't have a good relationship with your parents, perhaps a relative would be a good source to talk to. You also might be able to talk to a counseler at school.

Don't get involved with a boyfriend untill you and he are ready to make a serious commitment to each other. By the way the youngest daughter or our's has a lot of male friends. I told her that she is not ready for this at the age of 14. She knows that my wife and I would not approve of her being in a relationship. The friends, whether male or female can only be friends at this age.

Best wishes,

RR
