I read the little "How to Survive a Plateau" thing in Ranae's journal. I find this very interesting and I believe it makes sense...Have you tried that? Hopefully I will get a nice workout with the stairs tonight!
A lot - right now I am on day 5 of sticking - I hate it- but today I worked my butt off including 399 calories burned to the gym so tomorrow I hope to break it....
You are dedicated! lol I will try it...I don't know if I can do 15 seeing as I just started getting back into shape a month ago...but I will try! I'm trying to think of how many steps my staircase has...I can't think of it in my head lol so I will see when I get home from work..Have you hit any plateaus yet?
Good luck James - I did it twice today - 16 times up and down 13 steps in 5 minutes first teim - only managed 13 the second time lol.
Oh man...You know I have thought about doing that a few times...I have two sets of stairs! lol I could run up from the basement, run around the corner and run up to the top level...then back all over again... or just stick to my staircase(in the basement) I will try it out tonight! lol This is gonna kill! But its worth it..I think I'm starting to hit that plateau...:( I didn't lose anything this week, but I went to NO excersize to strength one day and 30 mins of cardio the next..switching off. I think its time to up it since I have been doing it for 4 weeks and have lost 9 pounds so far...but nothing this last week...so its time to step up! thanks for the idea!
It's amazing how quickly you get out of a puff... and for me my thighs start hrting at about 11 up and downs lol
Wow!i never thought of the stairs for the cardio! Well you said 15 right? Hmmm.lemme know if I can beat u at the stair cardio Game! hehe...just kidding..
Thanks for the mini challenge and the idea..yeaa um up for it!
