Feeling like I am getting OFF track

Well, I started My "life change"and joined WW 7weeks ago after the birth of my second son. I was doing really good up intill 2weeks ago. And todays weight in I only lost 0.2lbs. Im happy that I still lost something, but I just feel like I could have done better. I have been eating out(my weakness) alot more in the past 2-3weeks. I just need to find/help getting back on track! How do I do this!

Thanks
In total I have lost 11.6lbs

Let me know if you have any questions about WW--I've lost about 50 pounds on it.  Wannabenana has also lost quite a bit of weight.

The only way you can truly get off track is if you give up.  Otherwise, you were just temporarily derailed!

WW has the Core plan, which I'm on, and love.  Very little counting.

Oh ... almost forgot ... whenever you say "I think I'm getting off track" ... every time that thought enters your mind ... immediately say out loud ... "I AM COMMITTED AND GOING TO LOSE WEIGHT AND STAY ON TRACK, I CAN AND WILL DO THIS!" and say it THREE times!  Your brain and your motivation is affected by your thoughts ... adopt a "can do" philosophy .. it will help.  (((Hugs))) to you and your little one.  Ranae

First, Congratulations on your new baby!  When we start a family, we are blessed so very much and the love we have for our little ones is such a heartwarming and awesome experience.  At the same time, it adds a profound responsibility to our lives and it can be a little difficult to arrange our schedules for the time we need to take care of ourselves.  We get tired and our lives can begin to revolve around being a parent and meeting the needs of our family.

It's all about learning ... and while you may not be where you want to be, you are doing wonderfully.  Let's see ... new mommy, reaching out for assistance, joined WW, adopted "can do" attitude, staying engaged ... sounds like you're pretty awesome to me!!!

Would like you to consider trying something for me ... don't worry about looking up the calories, just log your food and your mood at the time you eat.  If you'll put that information in your daily journal here on MedHelp and then remind me in a week, perhaps we can take a look at it together.  It will help me spot a few things and be able to give you some specific ideas of what to change or tweak just a little to get you back to losing.

In the meantime, when you think of food, try to select the most natural options ... meaning ... rather than apple pie choose an apple, rather than a broccoli, rice and cheese casserole try whole grain rice and broccoli with a little spray butter or a slice of low fat cheese for 35-50 calories.  These changes will net you some great results.

Additionally, think of ways to burn a little more energy ... like parking in the second open space from the door rather than the first one you see.

In the meantime, think of 3 reasons why you would like to lose weight and shout them out here ... in doing so it makes it real and affirms your commitment in your thought process.  And, remember, I BELIEVE in YOU!!!  So do your teammates!

Big HUGGSSS .. Ranae

Hi!

First of all - a big congrats on the nearly 12 pounds weight loss! What an achievement!
I am glad to know you are on WW and it is a sound program. So you are in the right track. Losing weight is all about learning healthier lifestyle options and then implementing them. There may come sat backs, small dissappintments but the important thing is to keep moving forward and being patient.

Still you could eat out in confidence and choose healhier options. You just need to look for places and check the menu...

Keep your head up, you are doing a great job!

Oh my garsh. I think you are doing well. You need to remember that your body takes one whole year to recoop from a baby.  Steady progress is good. How about measuring too. I noticed that there were times I would not loose a whole lot of weight, but that was the weeks that my inches changed (for the better)
Congrats also on being a new mommy : )
Take care
