Oh my, looks like I've lost another week - my how time flies when we're having fun!!
Okay, so how's everyone doing this week? My week has been "exciting" to say the least; I know some of you have read my journal, so you know that my aunt, whom I've cared for for years, and who recently had to be brought to live at my house, fell this past week and fractured her hip. This was on Tues; on Wed she had replacement surgery, and is now, we hope, on the road to recovery from that incident.
Because of this, I have spent a multitude of hours sitting in the hospital, waiting for the powers that be (doctors, techs, etc) to do what they need to do. The most exercise I've gotten all week is the walk from the parking lot to the hospital and back; and sometimes not even that, because they have a shuttle that makes the trip to the parking lot, so sometimes, I was able to get on that.
Add taking the shuttle, eating in restaurants, sitting in the hospital, all together and you guessed it -- I'm up by a pound this week, after I'd been either losing or holding steady for several weeks. I'd rather things hadn't happened like this, but I'm not really upset by it. It's been a very stressful week and we do what we have to, to make things easier.
