I suggest starting a group like weight watchers! I joined and lost a fair amount of weight and I was overwhelmed with the result! Try your hardest and don't give up!
Losing 10 pounds in one month is very unhealthy. You should start now, to adopt healthy eating habits that you can live with and that will be conducive to weight loss, so you won't face this issue again.
10 pounds isn't so much to lose.... simply eliminating sodas and or other sweet drinks (including fruit juices) and making water your drink of choice will go a long way toward reaching your goal. Also eliminate candy, pastries and other high calorie sweets and make sure you get some daily exercise. While you might not be able to lose 10 pounds in one month, you can surely get a good start on your goal and have the weight off in time to enjoy the summer.
