Barb is right on with that information. For me, its anything baked.... Totally addicted and I have the will power to just stay away. For you, try the dark chocolate. Some people find the real dark chocolate not so tasty but I've grown to like it and can limit my intake on it. Try the 75% as barb suggested.
A small hand full of nuts is a great snack. Try 4-5 nuts with a small square of dark chocolate, and save that treat for a time that you can actually enjoy it, perhaps after a walk.
It's not the chocolate that's so bad for you; it's all the sugar, in milk chocolate. Dark chocolate is good for you. Buy one that's at least 75% cacao.
Of course, the amount has to be limited, which is up to you, to do. You can try having just a small piece of chocolate daily, then whenever you get a craving, have something else, like an apple or veggie sticks. Go for a walk, play a game, anything to take your mind off the chocolate.
