Am I having a miscarriage? Please help if you've had this happen, and know if you either did or didn't

I don't know if I'm having a miscarriage.  This is my second pregnancy, and this did not happen to me the first time.  I hope that I'm just being paranoid, but I'm really scared that something really is wrong.  I have been bleeding a little for the past few days.  It's not very heavy, but it's brownish, and I should probably be wearing a pad.  I have no pain or cramping, but I haven't felt any breast tenderness yet, either (and I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant.)  If you have had these same symptoms, please respond.  I want to know if others have had this happen and lost their baby, or if they carried full term.  I don't think I can wait another five days until my next ultrasound to find out!  I'm so incredibly scared, and I haven't slept in days.  I want this more than anything!

how would this mean twins?  I already had an ultrasound.  It only showed one sac.  I was also bleeding a lot more today.  It was still a brownish color, and kind of sticky/slimy.  It's making me MORE nervous...

Hang in there till your ultrasound. Try to keep yourself calm and do what you can to reduce your stress. I know this isn't easy. Be strong.

I have been, twice.  They couldn't tell me anything because it was too early.  I will be seven and a half weeks when they do my next ultrasound next week.  I called them today, but of course they couldn't help me.  She said she's seen it go both ways ~ women who don't bleed at all and miscarry, and then some who bleed the whole time and don't miscarry.  I know they can't do anything to help, but I just want to hear from other people now, who have experienced similar symptoms, and find out the outcome of their situation.  Also, other than feeling bigger and hungry more often, I don't really have any other pregnancy symptoms.  I know that I'm definitely pregnant though, because I have taken SEVERAL at home, one at my doctors, and then even had my first ultrasound after the first time I bled about two weeks ago.

If you are bleeding and you think you might be mis-carrying, take a pregnancy test. The hormones will still be present.

If you are pregnant and you are bleeding, I would go see the doctor. A little spotting is normal, but if it's brownish, you should probably have it checked out.
