For what it is worth, in early pregnancy, my size went up three cup sizes when the rest of me stayed slender. It changed the long-lined look of my clothes, didn't make me look cute a la big boobs, it made me look like the Queen Mary, downright matronly. And this was with a pants size that did not change. Whether you look fat or slim overall seems to be affected by your chest by itself, I think. When I was done nursing and my boob size went back down, I looked much more like my usual sleek style, people said I looked tall, etc. It was all about the optical illusion that a big prow gives. Anyway, if you do the surgery, you will probably find that clothes fit more the way they are intended. Women report shopping is easier, bras are comfortable, the straps don't dig into their shoulders, they don't have back pain, etc. Your call of course, but please at least find out a way to get some support for the girls.
You are just such a young woman to have what you describe--- sagging, grey breasts. Maybe the new bras will help but sadly, I think your anatomy is working against you. A problem at your age with chest pain and back pain . . . can you imagine when you are older?
But it is totally something you have to want and no one can make that decision for you. Insurance does often cover reductions for he health reasons for it and a reduction doesn't mean you have to be small chested. You can still have a decent size but a more 'manageable' size.
but really, you have to figure out how you feel about it. peace and luck
I recently got a professional fitting, I don't know if it is just because I don't wear bra's but it was hard wearing it. I get a lot of chest wall pain so I am thinking maybe this could be the cause....xx
Can this cause chest wall pain? That is the only reason I want them done.
What ever you decide to do, you must get some support for the weight of your breasts. The amount of weight you are not currently supporting can do some serious damage to your back. While it is not enough support, even a good sports bra would help hold things up off your chest a bit. Don't waste your time or money on a cheap sports bra, go to someplace that sells real sports activity clothing, we have Gander Mountain and places like that around here. Get someone in the store to help you get the best fitting you can get. It will make a huge difference. Good Luck!

From what you describe, I don't think you'll regret it. It doesn't sound attractive and they are hurting you. But you need to make the right decision for you. good luck
Ive worn the wrong sized bra's all my life, I got a professional messurment yesterday and she said for my age (21) my boobs are like all grey coulored and are saggy. Felt a right *** lol x
I just find that all bra's are just so hard to wear. I am only small and slim and then Ive got these knockers, everyone thinks ive had a boob job, yes for 13 months now ive had a welled sternum and pains and that, heavy feeling on my chest, breathing difficulties etc doctors cannot find anything wrong with me so as I guess I was thinking it may be that. I would like a reducution but I dont want to do it and then change my mind lol x
I can't imagine someone of that size going braless. Bras are for support hon and that you've been without one . . . well, no wonder you are hurting! Not to mention, socially, that must be awkward.
I think the breast reduction will be a good thing for you. I too know women who have had this and all are quite pleased. You go down to a more comfortable and natural size-- and so much of the pain and issues are gone. The downside is that it obviously is a surgery that has inherent risks. But I think from what you describe, the benefits may outweigh that tremendously. good luck
I have been thinking it was maybe heart related but my boyfriend did point out that I have massive breasts and I wear no bra so that may be causing all the pain xx
I would not be at all surprised. That is a lot of weight for the muscles attached to your bones to be carrying. Women swear by this surgery, life is so great afterward. Don't be afraid of it.
See, I suffer with more than aches and pains, my sternum is swelled at the time, shooting pains in the nipples and breasts itself and numbness of the breasts, is that atually normal? Xx
Everyone I have known who has had one has loved it. No more backaches, looking better in their clothes, etc.
