You may resume a normal cycle immediately with the next period 28 days after the miscarriage but there is a great personal variation,
and it can take up to 6 or 7 weeks for your period to return, especially if you had a "natural" miscarriage (i.e. no D&C or tablets).
It still may take a few cycles before your regular pattern is re-established.
Ovulation can occur 14 days after a miscarriage so you may wish to take precautions.

Surprisingly soon. I've read many stores of women who basically ovulated a couple weeks after m/c'ing and conceived. I was one of them but unfortunately all of my pregnancies so far have been chemical pregnancies. :-( (very early miscarriages) I wish you the best of luck in your TTC journey!

It depends on how your body coped with the miscarriage, some women get pregnant again within weeks, some take months. Just make sure that if you get pregnant again quite soon after the miscarriage, let your GP know so they can make sure everythings going smoothly from day 1. Best of luck x
