Enlarged Uterus and Testing

I've been having vague pelvic pressure/heaviness. I also have very heavy periods with clots. I saw my gynecologist today and he said my uterus was enlarged and wants me to go for an ultrasound and endometrial stripe test to check for Uterine Fibroids. Everything I read about endometrial stripe test, says it's used to test for Uterine cancer, so now I'm really concerned.
Is there anyone whose had uterine Fibroids with enlarged uterus? What were your symptoms? any advice?

I had the testing done and was told they saw no fibroid and nor any other abnormalities.
No explanation for my symptoms. Was told we'll keep an eye on how I'm doing etc.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Endometrial stripe is used to check overgrowth of tissue. It could represent an endometrial polyp or small uterine fibroid other than any malignancy. So get these tests done as suggested by your doctor.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
