Hard Painfull Lump

Hi Im 19 and a lil more than a month ago I noticed a lump on the right lower side of my vigina. When I first noticed it, it was about the size of a marble and was not pinfull but then it went dwn and then came bac and got bigger and more painfull. Its hurts to wear jeans and i have no insurance so i cant go see a doctor till my insurance goes through and that is probally anotha 3 weeks and it just bothers me and i cant wait till then im very afraid it may be cancer. Also i was wondering can that be caused by a UTI because i believe that i have one to and those symptoms came right around the same time but like i said b4 ive been dealing with both of thses for more than a month. And it very scary. Some one plz help

I dnt really think its gets worst from my period its just different all the time but was never as bad as it is now. But i was really worried yesterday because it got pretty big and very sore thats why i came on here to see if i can find something out. But like i was saying i couldn't even keep my jeans on yesterday had to put some leggings on and that still kinda irritated it and this morning when i woke up it went down but it seem like it was fluid inside and still really hurt to walk and sit but then just a lil while ago i sat up and then i felt my panties wet and when i went to check it out i guess from moving around it broke the skin and leaked on my panties (sound really gross) but now its not so hard like it was befor it still very sore though.

I agree with the sitz bath idea, it is very posibley just an infected gland. there are several different glands in that area and if just one gets backed up a little bit it can get infected and what is basically a zit turns into a bartholean (sp) cyst. they will usually go away on their own but a GYN may want to drain it if it is too big. They will ususally not do suregery though because the chance for infection does not outwiegh the initail problem. Does it get worse right before you get your period??

I'd try to sit in a bathtub with water as hot as you can stand it every night for the next week. It'll probably open up and drain or just go away over that time period.  Also, take Advil 600-800mg every four hours and that will reduce the inflammation and pain.  If it still isn't gone in a week, I'd see a doctor.  Sometimes a clinic or planned parenthood will see you on a sliding scale for payments...I'd check it out.
