Period after baby

I just had a baby 4 wks ago and i just now started my period again but it has an odor thats not a normal period smell is this normal or could it be infection?

You started a period again? Are you sure it's still just not the Lochia? (This is the bleeding following childbirth and is not an actual period) It can come on and off for a few weeks before you actually get a cycle again. What kind of odour does this have? If it has any sort of odour you don't feel is normal, you'll need to speak to your doctor to see what they would want you to do.

How long ago did your postpartum bleeding end?  If it hasn't been very long, you could be having a resurgence in the bleeding due to stress or not resting enough.  If you're breastfeeding, it should take even longer to have your period return.  You should call your doctor's office about it - they can tell you more and have you come in if they feel it's something to worry about.
