Viginitis is NOT necessarily an STI. It can be caused by an STI, which is known as trichomonas. This is an STI, but usually accompanied by severe itching as well. If you are not having itching, and only a milky discharge with an odor, it is more than likely a form of bacterial vaginosis, which is an overgrowth of the normal bacteria within the vagina. This can be cause by bubble baths, perfumes, semen from the male partner (which is acidic), not bathing properly, and many other issues. The only way to know for sure is to have a vaginal swab done by your GYN, and have it sent for testing.
its vaginitis or its a yeast infection. if you were not getting this before having sex with your partner, than he gave it to you. which means he got it from another girl. guys are carriers from girl to girl. the only way to really get rid of it is going to the doc and getting on a cream that you will have to inject into your vagina nightly before bed. and also make him wear protection or you will just get it again. this is an sti, and condoms would have protected you from it. go to the GYN, get the cream, and from now on make him wear a condom.
sounds like this could be thrush or another infection get it checked
Okay. I have had this problem before as well. If it isn't accompanied with itch and burning, more than likely it is Vaginitis. It is a bacterial infection within the vagina. The symptoms are fishy or smelly odor, and a milky discharge. It is usually detected by doing a swab and testing for the bacteria. This is caused by many things, but if you are having unprotected sex, it could be caused by your partner. The vagina is lubricated with a base liquid, and the male's ejaculation is acidic. When the two mix, this can cause the infection. There is no over the counter medicine to treat the condition. You would have to be tested by your GYN and get a prescription for it. If you already have the infection, making your partner "pull out" will not make it better. You have to have it treated with the medication. I hope this helps.
