Ingrown hair or boil?

I have a two bumps right on the outside of my vagina.  They started out hard and now and are soft like they are filled with puss.  I have been very concerned with them but I want to try everything I can before I go to the doctor considering I don't have insurance.  I'm not promiscuous, but that doesn't make my concern lessen at all.  After reading up they fit the description of a serious ingrown hair or a boil.  Can anyone help before I jump to conclusions?  Maybe I can heal them at home?

They do sound like ingrown hairs, (If not Bartholin's glands).  Try applying warm compresses to try and draw them out.

If the two bumps are at the bottom of the opening, on either side, it might be the Bartholin's glands.  They can get infected and swell up.  Look it up on the Net and see if that might be what you have.
